Base Hill was founded in 2002 in Pomona, California, with a goal to provide reliable, high-quality cleaning services that clients could count on. We started as a small local operation and have steadily grown through hard work, long-term relationships, and a commitment to doing the job right.
Over the years, Base Hill expanded beyond Southern California and served private and government clients across California, Oregon, Alaska, Nevada, and Texas. Our growth has been driven by experience, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to every contract we take on.

Meet our C.E.O.
Founder & CEO
Sunny Kim is the founder and CEO of Base Hill, with over 40 years of business experience and over 25 years in the cleaning industry. He founded Base Hill in 2002 after identifying a need for reliable, professional cleaning services built on consistency and accountability. Originally from South Korea, Sunny began his career in entrepreneurship in the early 1980s in Ketchikan, Alaska, where he managed and later owned a restaurant. After moving to Southern California, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from California State University, Long Beach and went on to work as a financial advisor before starting Base Hill. Today, Sunny remains actively involved in the company's operations, with a focus on quality control, client relationships, and long-term service performance. Fluent in both Korean and English, he brings a practical, hands-on leadership style shaped by decades of experience across multiple industries.
